I’m passionate about helping people better understand their body, movement and overall wellbeing through a combination of hands-on treatment, practical education and supportive care.

I enjoy working with people through different stages of life and health, particularly where physical symptoms are closely connected with stress, recovery, lifestyle changes or major life transitions.

I have a particular interest in pregnancy and postpartum care, women’s health, headaches, jaw tension and stress-related physical symptoms.

My approach focuses on creating a calm, supportive environment where people feel listened to and comfortable asking questions about their health and recovery.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Care

I enjoy supporting women throughout all stages of pregnancy, from early pregnancy through to birth preparation and postpartum recovery.

This may include helping manage:

  • lower back or pelvic discomfort

  • postural changes during pregnancy

  • mobility restrictions

  • return to exercise after birth

  • general physical strain associated with pregnancy and caring for a newborn

A pregnancy pillow is available during treatment to help improve comfort throughout your appointment.

I also enjoy providing education around the physical changes that can occur during pregnancy and recovery after birth.

Breast Health and Post-Surgical Care

I have a special interest in supporting women experiencing breast-related discomfort and post-surgical mobility concerns.

This may include:

  • mastitis and blocked ducts

  • breast engorgement

  • breast pain (mastalgia/mastodynia)

  • post-surgical scar discomfort or restriction

  • areas of numbness or altered sensation following surgery

Treatment may involve gentle hands-on therapy, movement strategies and self-care education where appropriate.

Headaches, Jaw Tension and Neck-Related Symptoms

I commonly work with people experiencing:

  • tension headaches

  • stress-related headaches

  • jaw pain or clicking

  • neck-related headaches

  • jaw locking or stiffness

Assessment often includes looking at neck mobility, muscle tension, breathing patterns and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to symptoms.

Stress, Breathing and Physical Tension

Stress and anxiety can sometimes contribute to physical symptoms such as muscle tension, shallow breathing, headaches, jaw clenching and disrupted sleep.

Where appropriate, I may incorporate:

  • breathing assessment

  • relaxation and down-regulation strategies

  • movement and mobility work

  • education around stress-related physical patterns

The goal is to help support both physical comfort and overall body awareness.

Treatment Approach

Depending on your needs, treatment may include:

  • Osteopathic manual therapy

  • Soft tissue techniques

  • Myofascial techniques

  • Joint mobilisation or manipulation

  • Dry needling

  • Movement and breathing assessment

  • Education and symptom management strategies

All treatment is tailored to the individual and adapted to your comfort level and preferences.

A Supportive and Collaborative Approach

I believe healthcare works best when people feel informed, supported and involved in the process.

Whether you are seeking help with pregnancy-related discomfort, headaches, jaw pain or stress-related physical tension, my goal is to provide practical care that helps you feel more comfortable, confident and supported in your recovery.
