Introducing Chris Kinch - Remedial Massage Therapist


Chris has been a Remedial Therapist since 2008 and is currently studying a Masters of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University. A Kinesiology taping instructor, adjunct tutor for an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, and former full-time Course Coach for the Diploma of Remedial Massage, Chris has also been treating as a remedial therapist alongside University studies.

Chris has worked alongside Julia Russel with elite sporting teams including the NRL State of Origin Teams, Melbourne Storm, Gold Coast Titans, and Western Force Rugby. Chris has an interest in helping treat sporting injuries, and assisting in return to sport and prevention of injury.

He also has a keen interest in strength and conditioning, and bodybuilding, giving him an awareness of the body and its ability to adapt to various forms of training and load. Chris is continually building his exercise and rehabilitation experience and incorporates his knowledge of exercise into his management plans.

Chris uses a variety of manual therapy techniques including deep tissue, Swedish, Kahuna/Lomi Lomi, trigger point therapy, cupping, dry needling, and kinesiology taping. Tailoring each treatment to suit the goals and needs of the patient.

As a budding Osteopath, Chris is passionate about manual therapy with a keen interest in keeping up to date with research in clinical practice, and health. With a passion for the fitness industry and a constant thirst for knowledge, Chris is continually striving to find the best ways to help his patients.
