ADAM THOMAS
Osteopath
I have a strong interest in integrated, evidence-informed healthcare and enjoy helping people better understand their body, movement and recovery.
My approach focuses on looking beyond just the site of pain and considering the broader factors that may influence how someone is feeling and functioning. This can include lifestyle, training load, stress, work demands, recovery, sleep, previous injuries and overall movement patterns.
I commonly work with people experiencing back pain, neck pain, headaches, sporting injuries, mobility restrictions and persistent movement-related discomfort.
I also enjoy working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals where appropriate. Depending on your needs, this may include communication with your GP, exercise physiologist, psychologist, personal trainer, Pilates instructor or other members of your healthcare team to help support a well-rounded management approach.
Every person’s situation is different, which means treatment should be individualised rather than one-size-fits-all.
As an osteopath, my role is to assess whether osteopathic care is appropriate for your presentation and goals, and to help guide you towards the most suitable care pathway. If another healthcare professional or treatment approach would better suit your needs, I believe it is important to help connect you with the right support early.
My aim is to provide practical, honest and patient-centred care that helps people move better, understand their condition more clearly and return to the activities that matter to them.
