Part-time Receptionist POSITION

About the ROLE

We are looking for a fun, energetic team player with excellent communication skills and an interest in the health & wellness industry.

 

This part-time role is best suited to someone who excels at smoothly operating a small but busy reception area. The role involves tasks that can improve the flow of work for our Osteopaths while keeping a positive and high-energy vibe for our clients and staff to enjoy their front of house.

 

Duties and responsibilities include

(but are not limited to)

  • A warm welcome and first impressions when greeting our clients

  • Diary management for up to 5 Osteopaths

  • Answering phone calls

  • Assisting with patient enquiries over the phone and in-person

  • Managing new and existing client bookings

  • Building strong client relationships

  • Processing payments, private health insurance rebates and invoicing

  • Confirmation of appointments

  • Managing patient correspondence, both incoming and outgoing

  • Managing emails, faxes and mail

  • Data entry with a high level of accuracy

  • Managing recall lists

  • Keeping our reception area and clinic clean and tidy

  • At all times ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient information

 

The successful applicant will have

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)

  • The ability to prioritise and multi-task

  • Deliver a high quality of customer care and service to our clients

  • High accuracy and attention to detail

  • Open to innovation and improving our processes where required

  • Experience using a Mac operating system

 

position is part-time hours:

Wednesdays: 8:10am - 5pm
Thursdays: 8:10am- 3:30pm
Fridays 8:10am - 5pm
Saturdays: 9am-12 noon (every second Saturday, alternating with the other receptionist)

 

This role falls under the Health Practitioner and Support Services Award MA000027. Remuneration will be at or above the requirements for this role description as per the award determined by your experience and performance.
